Vietnam Tour Hanoi – Sapa- Ninh Binh- 4 Nights/ 5 Days
DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL/SAPA (L)- Private tour
Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport, you’ll be picked up and driven directly to Sapa in the Northwest of Vietnam. Sapa is well known for its pristine Terraced Paddy Fields, cool mountain atmosphere and community of ethnic minorities. A distance of 333 km from Hanoi will take around 5,5 hours.
Arrive in Sapa town, have lunch at a local restaurant, and then visit Cat Cat Village nestled at the bottom of Muong Hoa Valley, visit the traditional H’mong House, Giant Water Wheels,the Beautiful Waterfall and an old hydroelectric station.
DAY 2: FANSIPAN MOUNTAIN / LAO CHAI – TA VAN (B/L) Private tour
As you may know the cable car in Sapa is the world’s longest and highest cable car, running up from sleepy Sapa Town in Lao Cai Province to the peak of 3,143-meter Fansipan Mountain, known as Indochina’s rooftop. Enjoy the view from the highest point of this incredible mountain. The lush green and subtropical vegetation makes this mountain really very beautiful. Take some pictures for unforgettable experience from the top.
OPTIONAL: To continue on to the peak by Mountain Train (own expenses).
After enjoying the spetacular sceneries then get cable car back to Sapa. Have lunch at a at a local restaurant. After lunch, depart for Lao Chai and Ta Van Villages and witness the daily life of ethnic minorities and the spectacular views of the valleys with terraced paddy fields.
DAY 3: SAPA/HANOI (B/L). Private tour
After the breakfast at hotel, depart for Hanoi. On arrival in Hanoi, have a late lunch with local foods. After having a late lunch start exploring the Hoan Kiem lake which is also known as “Sword Lake,” is a freshwater lake in the center of Hanoi, and the Old Quarter of Hanoi.
Then be transferred to hotel to check in.
DAY 4: HANOI – TAM COC (NINH BINH) – HANOI (B/L). Private tour
After breakfast, depart for Ninh Binh which owns Hoa Lu and Tam Coc as the most favorite sightseeing for tourists from all over the world. After 2,5 hours including a short break en – route, you will arrive at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital. In 968, Dinh Bo Linh declared himself as the King. Since then Hoa Lu existed as the capital for the next 41 years (968 – 1009), of which 12 years was under the Dinh dynasty – King Dinh Tien Hoang, the country named Dai Co Viet, and 29 years later was under the Le dynasty – King Le Dai Hanh. In 1010, King Ly Thai To moved the capital from Hoa Lu to Thang Long – present day Hanoi. Hoa Lu became the old citadel.
Have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, 5 minute-walk to the boat station and start the 1,5 hour-boat trip to visit Tam Coc. Known as “Halong Bay on land”, Tam Coc are three limestone caves stretching along Ngo Dong river. The boat trip is a nice journey along the river with peaceful scenery of Limestone Mountains, rice paddy and the site of some temples along the way from Hang Ca (first cave) to Hang Hai (second cave) and Hang Ba (third cave). After the boat trip, get back to your car to see Bich Dong pagoda in the village, Bich Dong pagoda was built in 1428 under the reign of Le Thai To. Being considered the most famous beauty spot of Ninh Binh province. The small stone bridge across the lotus lakes leads to a quiet, sacred pagoda space in the middle of a mountainous area.
Be driven back to Ha Noi, overnight at the hotel.
DAY 5: HANOI DEPARTURE (B) – Private transfer
After breakfast, it’s your own free & easy time. Depending on how much time you have, you can go shopping at Dong Xuan Market (opening time from 7:00 – 17:00), with famous for good quality fabrics, tea, coffee and cashews until the transfer to airport for departure with a sweet memories of Northern Vietnam.
